OFFTAKE, DESPATCH & REGULATION — SPOILER

TITAN has two principal upstream commercial products: methane, despatched as LRNG, and 2G ethanol. These are supported by biogenic CO₂, biochar and dispatchable CHP electricity, creating five commercial routes from the TITAN platform.

TITAN, like e-fuels, is Power-to-X designed to scale renewable resources.

Offshore Power-to-X scales according to how the wind blows. TITAN’s onshore Power-to-X scales according to how the carbon grows.

The renewable resource and upstream conversion route are different, but both use the same families of downstream fermentation technologies to achieve industrial scale.

The accompanying graphics explain the technology. This Spoiler concentrates on the outcome: what TITAN sells, who takes it, how it is dispatched, and the regulatory route to market.

METHANE — DESPATCHED AS LRNG

Like offshore Power-to-X, methane produced at scale is liquefied and exported as LRNG.

For offshore Power-to-X, production scales with renewable wind power. For TITAN, production scales with sustainable biogenic carbon. At scale, both produce methane that can be liquefied for efficient storage, transport and international trade.

TITAN methane is therefore not dependent upon a physical gas-pipeline connection at the production site. The commercial product is LRNG and the connection is virtual pipeline.

Our LRNG takeoff is being developed with Mitsui & Co., an established global LNG participant. Final takeoff will be aligned with the TITAN One delivery programme. There is no commercial purpose in fixing an artificial commencement date before that programme provides sufficient certainty.

The Baltic Power-to-X industry is simultaneously scaling renewable methane. Electrochaea and Baker Hughes have completed commercial engineering around a 75 MWe configuration, with the architecture designed to scale further.

2G ETHANOL

Like offshore Power-to-X produces e-methanol at scale, TITAN onshore Power-to-X produces 2G ethanol at scale.

Both are transportable liquid molecules serving established fuel, chemical and materials markets. For TITAN, the priority fuel pathway is 2G Ethanol → AtJ → SAF → Aviation. The commercial product leaving TITAN remains 2G ethanol.

The attached Mitsui Chemicals GmbH Take-Off Agreement provides direct documentary evidence of the takeoff mechanism previously established for TITAN ethanol.

The agreement has expired but has deliberately not been replaced before TITAN One has a meaningful first-delivery date. Once that date is established, the existing commercial structure can be updated against actual volumes and delivery commitments.

Our relationships with LanzaTech and LanzaJet connect TITAN with the developing European AtJ SAF market and its requirement for sustainable ethanol feedstock.

BIOGENIC CO₂

Biogenic CO₂ is a commercial TITAN co-product with a direct relationship to the developing Baltic Power-to-X market.

The commercial relationship is particularly simple:

TITAN — CO₂ exported | O₂ imported

This creates a natural LCO₂ ⇄ LOX exchange.

Kassø e-Methanol provides an operating commercial reference for the use of renewable hydrogen and biogenic CO₂ to manufacture e-methanol. It is particularly relevant to our commercial ecosystem because Mitsui & Co. is a shareholder.

BIOCHAR

Biochar provides both an external takeoff route and an internal value-add route.

VEOLIA has indicated an interest in taking TITAN’s biogenic biochar. This remains indicative until incorporated into the formal contractual package.

At the same time, AQUIS EPS creates a higher-value internal route by converting TITAN biochar into filtration media.

This allows TITAN to select between commodity takeoff and further value addition according to specification, certification and market value.

ELECTRICITY — DISPATCHABLE CHP

Electricity provides TITAN’s third commercial swing:

TITAN includes approximately 10 MWe of ICE generation capacityand has an available 20 MW PGE grid connection, supported by the attached connection confirmation.

This capability also underpins PowerCan: dispatchable generation capable of responding to local and system requirements, including balancing-power opportunities.

TITAN does not intend to depend upon conventional electricity auctions. The purpose is commercial flexibility. When grid and balancing demand provides the appropriate opportunity, TITAN can swing available energy into dispatchable CHP electricity.

The attached historic URE approval demonstrates the previous regulatory approval for electricity connection. This will be updated against the confirmed TITAN One start date, followed by the applicable network and TSO arrangements.
